July 25, 2020

The Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center has launched Laguna’s first TV Show!

Airing LIVE every Sunday from 5:00- 6:30 p.m.
Watch the show at any of these three places:

Due to complications with Facebook Live, we’re sorry to say that we’re going to try again next week for that platform. In the meantime, we’re still streaming here and on AlertTheGlobe.
The Anything Goes Happy Hour is hosted by music promoter, tennis pro/champion coach and founder of the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center, Rick Conkey. The AGHH, which began March 29th is presented by Alert the Globe and features interesting and timely local, regional, and international talent. The show also features fun and insightful interviews and commercials from local merchants and organizations.

This week’s show “Episode 17” features 3 Laguna arts icons: Douglas Miller, Mitch Ridder and James Clay Garrison. Douglas Miller is one of Laguna’s most beloved artists, then we’ll profile the fascinating life of Mitch Ridder, a renowned Laguna Beach-based painter, illustrator, photojournalist, veteran ocean lifeguard, and finally we’ll celebrate the return of James Clay Garrison, a gifted musician who has quickly become a favored fixture to one of the most respected music scenes in Southern California. We’ll also get to discuss the “Lost Video Footage” of the 2015 Blue Water Music Festival and present a few of the world’s best CV-19 inspired music videos.

If you miss the live show, you can watch past episodes by going to  LBCAC-TV

The AGHH is LBCAC’s way of providing area residents with a little safe fun in dark times. “Harnessing the power of the ARTS for the benefit of the community,” is their slogan, and this Arts/Music centric show does just that, by shining a bright light on a few amazing artists every Sunday.
